Help people track wallets

Problem: Traders in NFTs seek to identify current trending collections and track wallets that hold these collections. Having both of these knowledges they make more informed purchasing decisions.

Solution: Develop an easy-to-use web3 app featuring continuously updated collections and wallets side-by-side.

Tech discovery

We explored APIs for collections and wallets, listed necessary endpoints, and tested how to retrieve them.

Some data required custom calculations. I brought this endpoint list into the design phase.

A whiteboard with various sections of text and lists including API endpoints, potential tasks, and MVP goals, featuring detailed notes on application features and data handling, emphasizing charts, token integration, and real-time updates.

Brainstorming & Lo-fi

We ideated around a broader dashboard setup but later narrowed the scope to focus on login and wallet add/remove flows, keeping deadlines in mind.

This image displays two comparison tables titled "Top 10 Collections" and "Royal Emperor Of Gold," highlighting sales figures, wallet overviews, and project watchlists, with recommended wallet notes and a login option.

Developing components

Once aligned on design and data, I moved to the frontend—refining designs, writing code, and building UI from scratch. Clear task division and naming helped streamline collaboration.

Making mistakes

This was my first time working at this level of development. The wallet tracking system caused issues, pushing us to redesign and improve its interaction logic.

Connecting web3 wallet and crafting logo

We integrated MetaMask—more complex than expected—and tested thoroughly. I also created the app’s name and logo after team discussions.

Last check-ups

Just before the deadline, we reviewed our progress, prioritized features, and pushed final fixes. Sales-related data was tricky and only partially resolved.

Launch and great success

As we finished the project, we faced some challenges but also made strong progress. All final improvements were completed and merged into the main repository. We’re grateful to our teachers for their support. Since this was part of our school program, we joined a competition — and we won! 🎉 Thanks to everyone who helped.

I gained hands-on experience in frontend development and a deeper understanding of developer workflows. While I decided to stay in design, coding is now one of my biggest strengths. Huge thanks to Nina and Sven for the teamwork!
